Booking Policies
Valid for any booking made after April 3, 2024.
Plans can change unexpectedly, so our cancellation and travel credit policy is designed to give you flexibility and peace of mind. You can also add travel insurance when you book.
Standard cancellation policy
Full refund: cancellation requests submitted more than 30 days before check-in, requests made within 24 hours of booking when the booking was made at least 8 days before check-in, and cancellations covered by our Unplanned Event policy.
Travel credit (valid for one year): cancellation requests received 30 to 8 days before check-in.
Non-refundable: cancellation requests made 7 days or fewer before check-in.
Reservations are not eligible for refunds due to weather events, service outages outside our control or other acts of God. Reservations made through third parties follow those parties' policies, and group reservations follow our group booking terms unless otherwise authorized.
All cancellation requests must be emailed to info@greatsmokymountainscabinrentals.com with your first name, last name and confirmation number.
Unplanned event policy
If you cannot travel due to an unplanned event, we offer a refund to your original payment method. Send your request and any relevant information to info@greatsmokymountainscabinrentals.com. We may require supporting documentation.
Unplanned events include the death of the traveler, a traveling companion or an immediate family member (with a copy of the death certificate), jury duty during the travel dates (with a copy of the summons), and new or changed military orders for U.S. service members and their families (with a copy of the orders).
Travel credit
Travel credits are valid for one year and can be applied to a future stay with us.
Group bookings
Group reservations may carry separate terms. Contact our team before booking multiple units for one group.
Payments
A 25% deposit is due at booking, 50% more (75% total) is due 120 days before arrival, and the final payment is due 60 days before check-in. Bookings made less than 120 days out require a 75% deposit, and bookings within 60 days of arrival are paid in full at booking.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Early check-in at 2:00 PM and late check-out at 11:00 AM are available for $50 each, subject to availability.
House rules
The reservation must be made by a guest 21 or older. Occupancy limits include all guests and visitors. Smoking, vaping and pets are prohibited in all units; service animals are welcome but cannot be left unattended.
